Time Away

I’m tired, sore, and happy.

I just spent an incredibly fun weekend with the love of my life.  We ditched our sons and flew out to Oregon to spend a few days on the coast.

We walked on the beach.  A lot.  A whole lot.  We went kayaking on a tidal river.  We visited a couple of lighthouses.  We bought salt water taffy.  We walked on the beach some more.  I flew my power kite in a rather strong wind.

It was awesome.

The best part was being able to spend all day, every day, with my wonderful, amazing wife.  We’ve now been married for more than 20 years.  I can’t wait to see what the next 20 years, 40 years, eternity has in store for us.
