Welcome Back to Big Yellow?

This morning, I received an email informing me that Altiris was being acquired.

By Symantec.

So when things all shake out, I'll be working for Symantec again.

My first reaction was to be sick to my stomach.  But the more I thought about it, the better and better I felt about it.

I'm not going into the unknown.  I understand exactly what I'm getting into.  It'll take some time to really know how I feel.  But the cool thing is that I'll be working for a company that, had I not been laid off, I would have been perfectly happy working for for the forseeable future.  That's NOT a bad thing!
