Ten Percent

I’m more than 10% of the way toward my riding goal for the year!  That’s good, because we’re more than 12% of the way through 2009.  But since I started riding when almost 4% of 2009 was gone, I’m making up ground!

It’s been nice, really.  Some days, I really haven’t wanted to get on that stupid spinning bike, but once a workout is over, I’m usually pretty happy about it.  My legs are getting stronger and I’m losing weight.  These are a couple of pretty good side effects.

Happy Friday the 13th, everyone.  I broke a mirror over a black cat while walking under a ladder indoors carrying an open umbrella.  Nothing happened.  I don’t think there’s much to Triskaidekaphobia.

  1. They got a deal on the mission home in my mission because of fear of the number 13. It was the apartment on the 13th floor of the building (obviously not in the United States because buildings here don’t have a 13th floor). It was an American mission president working out the deal and he asked them to give him a deal because American’s are afraid of the number 13. And they gave him the deal.
