The ULCER
Last year, the Utah Lake Century Epic Ride was going so well until I broke a spoke.
This year, the route is going around the lake again and it's starting and ending at Thanksgiving Point.
I just registered. Now to get back in shape!
A little glimpse of me.

Yippy! Finding motivation to work out is great. Check your spokes before you go this time.

I love that it's called an Epic Ride, it appeals to my overly-dramatic streak.

Fortunately, I won't have to worry (as much) about breaking a spoke this year. I have new wheels. The old wheels were notorious for broken spokes. The new wheels have much thicker, yet lighter aluminum spokes that break much less often.
Laylabean... YOU?? Overly-dramatic? What are you talking about??

Yes, I am calm personified. Sure. ;)

As a matter of fact, I was looking up "calm" in the dictionary and there was a cross-reference: See Laylabean. :P
