Father and Son
This past week, I attended auditions for the Pleasant Grove Players' upcoming production of On Golden Pond. My teen-aged son came with me and also auditioned. We've both been cast! I'm playing Bill, the fiance of Chelsea, the daughter of Norman and Ethel, the main characters in the play. It's a small part. My son is going to play Bill's son, Billy. It's also a smaller part, but it's bigger than MY part!
We're going to be father and son on stage as well as father and son in real life. I'm pretty excited about the whole deal, as you can probably imagine!
Mark your calendars! Performances are March 7th through March 24th on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays. There are Saturday matinees on March 15th and March 22nd.

That's terrific! Congratulations! It's so fun when you can be on stage with your kids. Who else got cast?
Mr. Me
Hi! Welcome to my blog!
I know of a couple of casting decisions, but as of Thursday night when I left, they still hadn't decided on who would play Chelsea. I'm sure you'll know before I do if you got the part.
And they'd better figure it out SOON. The first meeting/read through is tomorrow night!
(Wish I could just say... "See you tomorrow!" but I really have no idea.)

Consider this me kicking myself that I won't be able to be there for it.
